Courtney's House Reborn

After close to 10 yrs in our little home we decided it was time for a bigger one.

We looked at moving on. Other established homes needed too much work and new home suburbs were too far away from everything and the houses built too close together.

We liked this area, the school and had made a good circle of friends over that time.

So we took the best of both worlds.

A new home in an old area.

Two posts in one day!!! That just shows how much is happening down at the Courtney House lately.

Today we had a little bit of bad news! Aveling rang us to say, the bricks that we picked out in Nov last year are no longer at Midland brick. Thanks to Aveling we think. We told Aveling the bricks we'd chosen were reserved, but obviously no one renewed the holding order so today (when they wanted them delivered) we find out the order had been purged. Damien did a mad dash to the Midland Brick yard (in Swan valley) to pick a new batch, lucky he was home from work (not out on the ship).

The delivery of a mini shed. The porta-loo and bricklayers will be here soon. We might need some bricks and maybe some power too, but that's another story!

Anyone for doors and windows? Windows and Doors.

The last of the trees that lived in the old backyard.

Will need to plant all sorts of new things. FUN FUN FUN!!!
