Courtney's House Reborn

After close to 10 yrs in our little home we decided it was time for a bigger one.

We looked at moving on. Other established homes needed too much work and new home suburbs were too far away from everything and the houses built too close together.

We liked this area, the school and had made a good circle of friends over that time.

So we took the best of both worlds.

A new home in an old area.

Well now we are waiting for the electrical dome to be installed. Aveling has left it to the last minute again. The site has been empty since Dec and now we have to wait. "...And then you wait!!" as DH WOULD SAY!!

There have been a few deliveries over the last couple of days. We had a man clean up some of the front (take away a big pile of grey sand) then someone else put a big pile of yellow sand in it's place. This is great stuff!!!

Aveling has finally put up the sign to say who is to blame for all the building fairies' mess. Man, can they be messy.
It was nice of Aveling to fill in all the info on the sign (not)!!!!!

Now this is a more exciting delivery. These are the beams and window lintels. This will strengthen the windows and doorways. Cool.
