Courtney's House Reborn

After close to 10 yrs in our little home we decided it was time for a bigger one.

We looked at moving on. Other established homes needed too much work and new home suburbs were too far away from everything and the houses built too close together.

We liked this area, the school and had made a good circle of friends over that time.

So we took the best of both worlds.

A new home in an old area.

Close of business Friday 26th March 2010:
At the back of the house you can really see the colour pattern of the bricks.























Craft room all finished....














squid1 bedroom window, bathroom window and theater window (from LtoR)all face bricks and internal bricks finished.
The ceiling height is going to so high.







We picked up a problem with the back laundry door. They have put in the wrong frame, will have to see brickies on Monday morn and break the bad news. It means that will have to break away the brick work around the door. OOOPPPPs
Better now than when it is finished.

Remember to always go and see work it progress, take your plans and check it off!!!

    DH vote you the best Mother-in-law ever if you say that about the bricks. He still not happy with them but they will grow on him.
